Travel In NewZealand

At the end of next block my girlfriend is coming to New Zealand to see me and travel NZ as well. She is staying with me in my home stay. When I first told my home stay mother about my girlfriend. She was willing to allow my girlfriend to stay with me without any extra fees. She said rather welcome about my girlfriend’s visiting to her house.

When my girlfriend comes to NZ, I’m going to lend a car and visit to Raglan, Rotorua, Auckland and Taupo. I have got an international driver’s licence. I made it in Korea before I come to NZ in case I drive in NZ.

I think that I have to ask my friend who has been living here for more than 10 years to teach me how and where I can borrow a car in Hamilton most efficiently and economically. I bet he knows well about that. Moreover I should check the way to Raglan, Rotorua, Auckland and Taupo with map in detail in order not to waste much time on the road wandering from place to place.

I’m really looking forward to meeting my girlfriend and travelling around the north island with her. I hope that the weather at that time is really good.

Really poor weather these days

Nowadays it rains everyday. I have to bring my umbrella with me whenever I go out. My umbrella which my friend gave to me in my birthday is very small. It can be folded so I can carry it in my bag easily when it doesn't rain. However when it rains very heavily with very strong wind, I wish I had a bigger one. Because of poor weather, I have to dry my clothes in my room or put them into a dry machine after doing washing. I really hope that the weather gets better soon. I also want to walk to school and come back home in the sunshine.

Newspaper

I and my classmates have made a newspaper. I was a journalist so I wrote an article about cell phone, and other friends played other rolls such as illustrator, photographer, designer and editor. All I have to do is to write one article and after my photographer took a photo about cell phone I attached that photo with my article, save that in my floppy disk and give it to editor. At first I thought my job was not good because I had to write something. And I envied photographer because all she had to do was just taking photo. That’s all. But later I noticed that editor was the hardest job because she had to check all articles, and also had to manage all about our newspaper. She seemed to be very busy. Anyway we have completed our newspaper successfully. We did it. Good!! Excellent~~

my favorite food in Hamilton

I’m staying in home stay now and everyday of course my home stay mother makes me delicious foods. I think my home stay mother is very good cook. I like all of her food which she has made me so far except only mutton. In fact I don’t like eating mutton.
Her favorite foods are tomato, salads and noodles. Fortunately I like all of them, too. One of my Korean friends someday said that I will eager to eat Korean food especially rice and kimchi after 2 or 3 months because I always eat kiwi food. But that’s not true. She makes me rice at times too. When she makes a chicken curry, I always eat rice with it. Her chicken curry is absolutely delicious.
My favorite foods are chicken curry, spaghetti and lassanya (I can’t explain about this food exactly. It’s very difficult. But it tastes like pizza and looks like very big pie and is made from beef, tomatoes, cheese and lettuces) I want to eat these foods everyday, if I can.
She always makes very enough food because I have a very good appetite. Sometimes I can’t eat all of mine. So I bring the rest of it next day as my lunch.

homestay mother

Today my homestay mother is going to having an operation. Maybe she has already had the operation. She had a breast cancer but it's not serious. She said it's just benign cancer so she will be ok if she has an operation today. She won't work for 10 days from today.
Although it's not a big operation, she have to take a break, and she have to take radiotherapy once a week for 5 weeks.
She said she is very lucky and very strong woman.
She is right, everyday after work she goes out with her dog, Holly, to run along the riverside, and every Wednesday and Friday she goes to the gym during her lunchtime and on Sunday evening she also goes there.

Every weekday, she takes me to the city by car. In fact, she works near my institute, and she starts her work at 8, 30 so everyday we leave and go back home together. But from now for the next 10 days I have to walk to the institute alone. It takes about 30 minutes for me to get there. It’s not a big problem for me.
I hope my homestay mother gets well again as soon as possible.

Party with friends on Saturday

I had a party with mansu, hyunsu and sam on Saturday in sam's flat.
I usually go to the institute and central library to study and to use computer.
Last Saturday I also went to there and came back home around at 5pm.
Mansu phoned me when I was doing push-up and suggested me to have a party together.
First I hesitated to answer right away because of my girlfriend. Usually she call me after her work and I think if I don’t answer her call because I am not home, probably she will be disappointed with me. But I really crave to join them so I said yes. I called then my girlfriend’s work and inform her.
